Joachim Niemeier

Joachim Niemeier (born December 27, 1955 in Stuttgart ) is a German manager and honorary professor .

Life

From 1975 to 1980, Niemeier studied technically oriented business administration at the University of Stuttgart . In 1986 received his doctorate he entitled 'competitive environment and internal configurations' at Wilhelm Beer Fields Dr. rer. pole.

From 1984 to 1995 he worked at the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering and Organization (IAO), Stuttgart , where he headed the corporate management department. From 1995 to 2005, Niemeier was managing director of T-Systems Multimedia Solutions GmbH .

From 1998 to 2004 he was a member of the second media council of the Saxon State Authority for Private Broadcasting and New Media , and from 2002 to 2005 a member of the board of trustees of the Media Design Center (MDC) at the Technical University of Dresden .

In 2004 Joachim Niemeier was appointed honorary professor by the University of Stuttgart . In the same year he was one of the co-founders of D-ELAN (German Network of E-Learning Actors eV) and was a member of the founding board and the first board of D-ELAN. In 2005 he initiated the Dresden Future Forum .
