The Giselasee is a lake east of the village of Plötzky, which belongs to Schönebeck (Elbe) in Saxony-Anhalt . There are various other small lakes in the vicinity. The Edersee is only a few meters to the east .

The lake, surrounded by forest, was created as a result of the quarrying of quartzite rock . In 1923, however, the mining was stopped. The lake in the Plötzky district reaches a depth of up to 20 meters and has a surface of around 5600 m². A local recreation area was created in the vicinity of the lake, which is mainly characterized by permanent camping and arboreal properties .
