Gislenus

Saint Gislenus , French Ghislain (* first half of the 7th century ; † October 9, 680 in Ursidongus, today's Saint-Ghislain ) was a clergyman and anarchist in today's Belgium .

Gislenus was probably of Germanic origin and lived in the county of Hainaut . The present-day parish of Saint-Ghislain, where he died, was named after him.
