Giuseppe Abate
Giuseppe Abate (before 1828 - after 1860) was a 19th century Italian painter and restorer .
In 1828 he was a member of the Congregazione dei SS. Luca ed Anna in Naples . Abate discovered the frescoes in the chapel of Castel Capuano in 1860 and restored them. They were later taken to the great hall of the Court of Appeal in Naples.
