Giuseppe Adami (General)

Giuseppe Adami ( January 4, 1891 - July 31, 1964 ) was an Italian major general .

Life

Adami completed an officer training after school and found various uses as an officer in the army ( Esercito Italiano ) . On December 10, 1934, he was promoted to lieutenant colonel (Tenente Colonnello) and on August 8, 1942, he took over from Colonel Lorenzo Vivalda as commander of the 5th Mountain Infantry Regiment (5º Reggimento alpini ) , which he held until August 13, 1943. On August 13, 1943, he took over as Brigadier General (Generale di Brigata) as the successor to Brigadier General Domenico Canistrà as commander of the infantry troops of the 151st " Perugia " infantry division (151ª Divisione fanteria "Perugia") . He remained in this post until the unit was dissolved in 1943.
