Giuseppe Gatt

Giuseppe Gatt (* 1933 ) is an Italian art critic .

Gatt published numerous articles on painters, such as monographs on Thomas Gainsborough and William Turner , John Constable and Oskar Kokoschka , after whose play Murderer, Hope of Women he also shot a rather experimental fictional film, which was made in 1972 and only shown later in a manageable framework L'assassino, speranza delle donne . He is described as one of the theoretical pioneers of New Mannerism in Italy.
