Giuseppe Orlandini

Giuseppe Orlandini (* 1922 in Florence ) is an Italian film director .

Life

Orlandini graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in 1953 and then quickly found employment as an assistant director. He worked u. a. with Franco Rossi and Luchino Visconti . In 1958 he made his directorial debut with the comedy Tutti innamorati , which was coordinated by his teacher Rossi. After his episode contribution to Cronache del '22 , some unexciting comedies followed, until between 1967 and 1972 he devoted himself exclusively to the comedian couple Franco & Ciccio , with whom he staged six grotesque comedies, which were occasionally written by him. After that, Orlandini retired from film directing.
