Giuseppe Palumbo
Giuseppe Palumbo (born September 10, 1975 in Syracuse ) is a former Italian cyclist .
In 1992 and 1993 Giuseppe Palumbo was world junior champion in road racing . From 1998 he drove for the Riso Scotti-MG Maglificio team . After two years he moved to Amica Chips-Tacconi Sport and after another year to De Nardi . Here he won the GP Canton Aargau in 2002 and a stage of the Liguria Tour the following year . Palumbo has been driving for the Italian Professional Continental Team Acqua & Sapone since 2004 . At the Tour of Austria in 2005 he won the sprint ranking. He started five times at the Giro d'Italia , but without any significant placement.
