GB-MG Maglificio (from 1995 MG Maglificio-Technogym , 1998 as Riso Scotti -MG Maglificio ) was an Italian cycling team that existed from 1992 to 1998. The sponsor GB merged with Mapei in 1995 . Therefore, the Italian fashion company MG became the main sponsor, with fitness equipment manufacturer Technogym as co-sponsor.
Team managers included Paolo Abetoni , Roger De Vlaeminck , Patrick Lefevere and Giancarlo Ferretti .
Biggest success of the team was the Tour de Suisse -Gesamtsieg of Pascal Richard and winning the UCI Road World Cup of Michele Bartoli . The team also won stages in numerous tours and celebrated victories in various classics .
