Alessandro Bertolini

Alessandro Bertolini (born July 27, 1971 in Rovereto ) is a former Italian cyclist .

Career

Alessandro Bertolini began his professional career in 1994 with the Carrera Jeans-Tassoni cycling team , after having been a stagiaire there the previous year . In 1997 he celebrated his first victories, he won a stage at the Hofbräu Cup and was able to win the Belgian autumn classic Paris-Brussels . His most successful season was 2007 when he won four difficult Italian one-day races as well as the annual ranking of the UCI Europe Tour 2007 with the Giro dell'Appennino , the Coppa Agostoni , the Giro del Veneto and the Coppa Placci . In 2008 he won a stage of the Giro d'Italia .
