Nicola Loda (born July 27, 1971 in Brescia ) is a former Italian cyclist .

Career

Nicola Loda began his career in 1994 with the GB-MG Maglificio cycling team . The following year he took part in the Tour de France for the first time . He celebrated his first professional success in 1999 on the Tour of Denmark with a stage win. He then switched to Fassa Bortolo , where in his first year he was able to win one stage each in the Tour of Luxembourg and in the Midi Libre . In the 2003 season he was able to win another stage of the Tour of Luxembourg. Then he drove for Tenax for a year . In 2005 and 2006 Loda rode for the Italian UCI ProTeam Liquigas-Bianchi and then ended his career as a professional cyclist.
