Fabiano Fontanelli
Fabiano Fontanelli (born April 24, 1965 in Faenza ) is a former Italian cyclist and later sports director .
Fontanelli was a professional from 1989 to 2003. His greatest sporting individual successes are likely to be victories at the Grand Prix Pino Cerami , 1995 (before Francesco Casagrande and Felice Puttini ) and at Paris-Camembert , 1999, (before Max Van Heeswijk and David Moncoutié ) . In addition, he also won several stages in the Giro d'Italia . A total of 36 victories are recorded in his vita in various races. However, he was also repeatedly suspected of doping.
After his active career, Fontanelli became Sports Director at Panaria-Navigare in 2005 .
