Giuseppe Porzio

Giuseppe "Pino" Porzio (born February 26, 1967 in Naples ) is a former Italian water polo player and later coach.

Porzio played like his brother Francesco Porzio for the Neapolitan club Circolo Nautico Posillipo and was involved in eight championship wins from 1985 to 1996.

At the 1992 Olympic Games , the Porzio brothers won the gold medal with the Italian national team. In 1993 the Italian team won the World Cup and the European Championship, followed by the World Championship in 1994.

After his playing career, Giuseppe Porzio became a coach and won the Italian championship title with Posillipo in 2004 and finished second in the championship in 2005. In 2005 he moved to Pro Recco and won six Italian championship titles with this club.
