The Glaphyriinae are a subfamily of the Crambidae within the order of butterflies . A total of around 200 species are currently known. Only one genus occurs with a species in Europe.

Way of life
The representatives of the subfamily Glaphyriinae have opened up a variety of habitats. These include leaf moths , leaf miners in cacti , parasites on other caterpillars and inhabitants of wasp nests .
Systematics
The subfamilies Alatuncusiinae and Dichogaminae , which were previously independent, are now included in the subfamily Glaphyriinae . In Central Europe there is only one genus and species. It is almost everywhere in the world occurring pest in cruciferous vegetables .
