Northern Britain in the 6th century

Glappa (also: Clappa ) (before 559; † 560 ) was king of the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Bernicia from 559 until his death in 560 .

One of the few sources on Glappa is the Moore Memoranda from around 737, in which Glappa was named between the kings Ida and Adda with a year-long reign as King Bernicias. Details of his life and rule are unknown. In older research, Glappa was sometimes seen as the son of King Ida of Bernicia.
