Glashütte is a suburb of Unterkochen , a district of Aalen .
Location and transport links
Glashütte is located southeast of the city center of Aalen and east of Waldhausen. The place lies deep in a side valley of the White Kocher , through which the Häselbach flows. Only a small road leads to Unterkochen.

Glass has been produced in the village since 1508, but production was discontinued after 1660.
In 1854 Glashütte had 47 inhabitants.
