The Glass Point is a headland on the north coast of King George Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is 7 km southwest of False Round Point .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee made the designation in 1960. The name is Robert Hill Glass (1825-1884), captain of the Francis Allyn , which operated between 1873 and 1875 and between 1877 and 1879 in the waters around the South Shetland Islands.
