globegarden is the largest supraregional provider of day-care centers and kindergartens in Switzerland . The globegarden GmbH is a not-for-profit sponsorship. It is run by a professional operating company the kcc group ag. Quality management also offers family counseling, personnel administration and accounting.

Globegarden was founded in 2008 with headquarters in Zurich and offers municipalities and companies services to build a sustainable, family-oriented strategy.

In 2010, globegarden was awarded the Women Finance Young Talent Award for honesty by the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences , in 2012 it was accepted into the Global Shapers Community by the World Economic Forum and in 2018 it received the renowned Ernst & Young Award Entrepreneur of the Year in Switzerland. The organization is a member of Success Factor Family and the Childcare Network and is also the first operator of daycare centers in Switzerland to be certified with the International Education Excellence seal of approval for its quality management based on ISO 9001. The day-care centers are sponsored by landlords, municipalities or companies, among others, whose employees take up places in the facilities. Credit Suisse was one of the first corporate customers , the first foundation partnership was with Swiss EPI, and a renowned development project for the daycare center was implemented with Herzog & de Meuron . In addition to the most important service, daycare, the organization also offers emergency care as well as babysitting and nanny placement.

The basic pedagogical stance of the educational company is characterized by early language support in the elementary sector and, in addition to personal development, takes into account social, emotional, cognitive and kinesthetic development from infancy.

Some facilities have nutrition certificates such as [Fourchette verte] or Fourchette verte - Ama terra and Purzelbaum or are based on the cantonal list of criteria for healthy eating and exercise. This encourages child movement and healthy eating habits in everyday daycare

Globegarden is a partner of the Competence Network for Early Childhood at the University of Konstanz and the Thurgau University of Education and a member of Voice Q.

The advisory board consists of Sonja Perren, professor for development and education in early childhood, Carolina Müller-Möhl , who is part of the management of the Pestalozzianum Foundation for Youth, Education, Dialogue, and Monika Bütler , who does the study work is not worthwhile - a second child published even less.

At the end of 2019, criticism of the company was expressed in the online magazine Republik . As a result, globegarden commissioned an external investigation and the City of Zurich announced inspections.
