The Cornille-Havard bell foundry is located in Villedieu-les-Poêles in the Manche department (France). The company was founded in 1865 by Adolphe Havard .

In 2012 eight new bells were cast for Notre-Dame de Paris , delivered on January 31, 2013 and hung in the north tower. The largest, named Gabriel, weighs around 4.2 tons with the nominal ais 0 . The other 7 are: Anne-Geneviève (3.5 t), Denis (2.5 t), Marcel (1.9 t), Étienne (1.5 t), Benedict Joseph (1.3 t), Maurice ( 1 t) and Jean-Marie (782 kg).

During a bell casting in July 2009, the mold for a bell burst. One person was seriously injured and 25 others were slightly injured. In the accident, molten bronze was thrown out. The bell with a weight of 6.3 t was intended for a church in Mulhouse and was to be the largest in the company's history to date.
