The Grassmayr Bell Museum is a private museum at the location of the Grassmayr bell foundry in Innsbruck , Leopoldstraße 53.

Museum offer

The bell museum, which has been in the Grassmayr bell foundry since 1993, presents numerous facets of the history and production of bells. Among other things, historical bells from Austria and other countries as well as historical photos are on display. In the “sound space”, museum visitors can carry out their own sound experiments.

Because the museum is directly connected to the operations of the Grassmayr bell foundry in Innsbruck, visitors can gain a direct insight into the craftsmanship beyond historical references. The museum is run by the former owner of the Grassmayr bell foundry, Christof Grassmayr, whose sons Johannes and Peter Grassmayr run the company today.

The Grassmayr Bell Museum regularly takes part in the Long Night of the Museums .
