Glyndwr Williams

Glyndwr Williams (born March 11, 1932 ) is a British historian .

Williams acquired in 1959 at the London University academic degree Ph.D. He was Professor of History there until his retirement in 1997. He is the author of numerous works on the history of seafaring .

Glyndwr Williams received the Caird Medal from the National Maritime Museum and the Hon. D. Litt. from La Trobe University .
