Gnaeus Arulenus Caelius Sabinus

Gnaeus Arulenus Caelius Sabinus was a Roman suffect consul and a respected early classical legal scholar in the 1st century AD.

Sabinus was nominated by Emperor Nero or Galba together with Titus Flavius ​​Sabinus as suffect consul for the months of May and June of the year 69. The victorious Vitellius had no objection to their administration , so that Sabinus could take up his consulate.

Sabinus was related to Emperor Vespasian . He was chairman of the Sabine school and wrote the Libri de edicto aedilium curulium .
