Gnaeus Arulenus Caelius Sabinus
Gnaeus Arulenus Caelius Sabinus was a Roman suffect consul and a respected early classical legal scholar in the 1st century AD.
Sabinus was nominated by Emperor Nero or Galba together with Titus Flavius Sabinus as suffect consul for the months of May and June of the year 69. The victorious Vitellius had no objection to their administration , so that Sabinus could take up his consulate.
Sabinus was related to Emperor Vespasian . He was chairman of the Sabine school and wrote the Libri de edicto aedilium curulium .
