Reinhard Klenke (* 1951 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German lawyer and politician ( CDU ). He was also president of the Administrative Court Dusseldorf and 2011-2017 President of the Government of the governmental district of Münster .

Life

Reinhard Klenke studied law at the Ruhr University in Bochum from 1969 to 1973 . There he worked as a research assistant from 1973 to 1976 and obtained his doctorate in 1975 on the subject of economic subsidies and property guarantees under Article 14 of the Basic Law . In 1977 he became a judge at the Gelsenkirchen Administrative Court , then a judge and presiding judge at the Münster Higher Administrative Court and then President of the Düsseldorf Administrative Court . From May 2009 he headed the central department of the Ministry of Justice of North Rhine-Westphalia as ministerial director .

Klenke has been a lecturer at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf since the 1996 summer semester . He has been involved in the first state examination in law since 1982 and in the second state examination since 1992, since 1995 as chairman.

On October 1, 2011, following a vote by the state government on September 6, 2011, Ralf Jäger, the interior minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, appointed him regional president of the Münster administrative district. He retired on August 31, 2017, and was succeeded by Dorothee Feller .

Reinhard Klenke lives in Gelsenkirchen-Ückendorf . He is a member of the CDU , married and has two children.
