Gnaeus Cornelius Scipio Calvus
Gnaeus Cornelius Scipio Calvus († 211 BC ) was a Roman general and statesman.
Gnaeus was a son of Lucius Cornelius Scipios and the brother of Publius Cornelius Scipios . He was in the year 222 BC. Chr. Consul and fought in the Second Punic War v from 218. On the Iberian Peninsula . Still in 218 BC He succeeded in the battle of Cissa in a victory over the Punic general Hanno and the chief of the Iberian tribe of the Ilergetes , Indibilis , both of whom were taken prisoner. Gnaeus Cornelius Scipio was born in 211 BC. Killed in the battle of Ilorci .
