Godøy is an island in Norway in the Fylke Møre og Romsdal .

Godøy is the westernmost island in Giske municipality , to which it is connected via the Godøy tunnel. The island has an area of ​​10.87 km², the mountain Storehornet is the highest point with 497 m. Godøya has 1151 inhabitants (2019). The most important branch of the economy is fishing and fish processing. On the island there is the Alnes lighthouse , the Hogstein building stone and the Eilifsrøysa burial mound . The 5 m high burial mound dates from the late Roman period from 375 to 400 AD. The Godøytun Museum has an exhibition about the Eilifsrøysa burial mound.

To the southeast is the small island of Havsteinen .
