Soldier Snafu returns home and is warmly received by his family and friends. He begins at home to report on the latest achievements of the army. While going to the cinema, he tells a lady details about an atomic bomb that is still in development. He meets with other ladies and tells them more secrets of the army. While he is having fun dancing with a lady, the radio broadcasts the news that a soldier has betrayed her. The newscaster mentions duty number 999 from Snafu. Snafu says in a state of excitement that anyone who does such a thing should be run over by a tram. Finally the tram ran over him.
Background information
The cartoon was not published because the detailed drawing of the atomic bomb in the film revealed too much about the development status of the atomic bomb at the time.
