The Goldenes Posthorn wine tavern in Nuremberg has existed since at least 1498 . A corresponding sales certificate has been preserved.

In the 16th century, guests included Hans Sachs , Albrecht Dürer and Lorenz Beheim .

In 1945 the Golden Posthorn was totally destroyed by bombs. The current building has been in its historic location in Glöckleinsgasse since 1960. The wine tavern today offers Franconian and international cuisine, including Nuremberg sausage .
