action

The strategist Vega plans to rule the universe, and for this purpose assigns the human-like inhabitants of the planet Euphoria to create an army of combat robots. When he has enough robots, he devastates Euphoria. Shortly before, however, Prince Actarus was able to flee from his homeworld with the secret, emergency super combat robot Goldorak . After a long odyssey in space, he finally falls close to death on earth. The Japanese space organization retrieves the find and helps the prince. Professor Genzo Umon adopts Actarus and gives him the code name Daisuke Umon.

Actarus / Daisuke reports on the threat to the earth from Vega and explains that he wants to take revenge on Vega and his armed forces and wants to protect the earth with all his might. He is supported by Alcor (former pilot of Mazinger Z ), who controls the Double Spacer for air missions, and Hikaru Makiba, the pilot of the Marine Spacer for underwater missions.

In episode 49, Actarus finds his sister Maria Grace, whom he previously thought was dead. She was saved from the devastation of her home planet by a servant of the royal family and brought to earth. Maria Actarus later helps against Vega and controls the drill spacer for operations underground.
