The house registered in the Quedlinburg monument register is located in the northern part of Quedlinburg's old town on the south side of Goldstrasse. The building, which is also listed, is adjacent to Goldstrasse 7 on the west side .
Architecture and history
The two-storey half - timbered house dates from 1697 and was built by master carpenter Martin Lange . The inscription M.MARTEN LANGE refers to him . ZIMMERMAN . The ground floor was changed in the late 18th or early 19th century. The upper floor was plastered. Since a renovation at the end of the 20th or the beginning of the 21st century, the framework on the upper floor has been unplastered again. At the same time, the top floor was expanded.
