Golzheimer Strasse 120
The high-rise Golzheimer Straße 120 in Düsseldorf-Derendorf was built from 1971 to 1972 according to plans by the architects Hermann Willi Thesing , Hans Strizewski and Winfried Jansen in the brutalist style.
description
The five- to seven-storey corner building is structured on the outside by numerous round "windowless masonry towers" similar to a castle complex. Semicircular loggias with parapets in exposed concrete protrude between the round towers . There are room-high windows in the loggia area. Due to the “original facade design, this is a remarkable example of residential construction from the early 1970s”.
