Gomoa / Awutu / Effutu / Senya District is a former district in the Central Region in the West African state of Ghana . Due to an administrative reform under Jerry Rawlings in 1988, the district was divided and split into the districts Gomoa and Awutu / Effutu / Senya . The capital of the district was Winneba , the area was 1,677 km².
