Gondola Ridge ( English for gondola ridge ) is a mountain ridge south of the Mackay Glacier , which extends about 6.5 kilometers from Mount Suess in a northeast direction.
It was mapped by the western group of the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) under the direction of British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott . It was so named because, together with the Mount Suess connected to it, it resembles a gondola in shape .
