Gongsun Gong
Gongsun Gong ( Chinese 公孫 恭 ) was a Chinese warlord , the younger son of the warlord Gongsun Du of Liaodong and the younger brother of the Chinese warlord Gongsun Kang .
After his death in 220 AD, he took over the successor for his underage nephews. He was appointed general and marquis by the Chinese emperor Cao Pi . His nephew Gongsun Yuan overthrew him in 228, but he was still alive when the empire fell in 238 AD.
Mention in the literature
In the fictional book History of the Three Realms it is reported that Gongsun Gong advised his brother Gongsun Kang to murder Yuan Shao's sons Yuan Xi and Yuan Shang, to offer their heads to Cao Cao in a chest, and then to receive his thanks.
