Gongsun Yue

Gongsun Yue ( Chinese  公孫 越 ) is a character from Luo Guanzhong's novel The Story of the Three Kingdoms , which is set in China at the time of the Three Kingdoms ( 3rd century AD). As the younger brother of the warlord Gongsun Zan , he was sent to Yuan Shao to negotiate the division of the northern provinces (the area around today's Jilin Province ). On the way back, however, he is murdered by Yuan Shao's men, which Gongsun Zan takes as an opportunity to go to war against Yuan Shao.
