Gontard Jaster

Gontard Jaster (born May 22, 1929 in Schneidemühl , Grenzmark Province of Posen-West Prussia ; † January 28, 2018 ) was a German economist with a focus on marketing.

Jaster studied economics (Dipl. Kfm., Dipl. Hdl.) And received his doctorate in 1963 at the Free University of Berlin with the thesis assortment and assortment policy in retail . He was a professor of marketing at the Munich University of Applied Sciences .

Jaster was a long-time honorary member of the board, later a member of the Forum German Catholics Board of Trustees .

Until his resignation in 1989, he was the chairman of the Munich working group in the International Society for Human Rights .
