Goodbye Fairbanks is a Swiss rock band from Bern .

history

Goodbye Fairbanks was founded in 2005 by Benjamin Etter, Olivier Weiss, Ricardo Krenger and David Branca.

In 2006 she released her debut EP Smile, If You Can . In 2009 the album In All Locations followed on the Subversiv Records label. In Germany and Austria, the record is sold through Rough Trade. Shortly thereafter, she released the Christmas EP From All Locations , which contains B-sides and remixes of the album In All Locations . Goodbye Fairbanks is a passionate live band and has already toured across Europe and the USA.

At the end of 2010 bassist Oliver Weiss left the band for personal reasons. The vacancy was quickly taken over by Michael Marti, who was already on tour with the band as a live musician. Michael Marti is also known as the singer and guitarist of the band "The Plus Nomination".

The band flew to Atlanta, GA in the spring of 2011 and recorded with Matt Goldman (Underoath, Copeland, Anberlin) at "Glow in the Dark Studios". Her second studio album is due to appear in early 2012.
