Gora Gakkelja ( transcription from Russian Гора Гаккеля ) is an isolated nunatak in the East Antarctic Mac-Robertson Land . It rises in the southern part of the Prince Charles Mountains .

Russian scientists named it after the Soviet oceanographer Jakow Jakowlewitsch Gakkel (1901-1965).
