Goran Petrovic

Goran Petrović (* 1961 in Kraljevo , Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian author .

Life

Petrović studied Serbian literature at the Philological Faculty of the University of Belgrade . He works as a publishing editor in Belgrade and as a librarian in the city library of the city of Žiča near his hometown. He is one of the most widely read Serbian authors in his homeland. His novels and short stories have won many national literary awards.

Since November 1, 2012, Petrović has been a corresponding member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts .
