Gordon Mulholland
Gordon Mulholland (born 1921 in England , † June 30, 2010 in East London , South Africa ) was a British actor .
Life
Mulholland began his career as a comedian in troop entertainment during World War II . After the war he switched to theater work and produced and played in his own shows. He also gained a foothold in films and got a few minor roles.
In 1967 Mulholland moved to South Africa, where he worked successfully on stage and on radio. He made his breakthrough with the lead role in the 76-part television series The Villagers, which was broadcast from 1976 to 1978 . He had a big box office success in 1986 with Jock of the Bushveld .
