The Gotley Glacier is an 8 km long glacier on the island of Heard . It flows from the ice-covered slopes of the Big Ben volcano to the southwest coast of the island, which it reaches between Cape Arkona and Cape Labuan .
Participants in the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions mapped it in 1948 and named it after Aubrey V. Gotley, chief meteorologist and officer on duty on this expedition.
