Gottfried Kustermann (born October 7, 1943 in Garching near Munich ) is a former German sports shooter . In 1970 he won the world title in the 10 m air rifle discipline.

Career

Kustermann is a master butcher by profession. As a sports shooter, he mainly shot air rifles and small caliber rifles as well as crossbows and won a total of 70 individual or team titles - 10 world, 16 European and 44 German championships. He took part in the Olympic Games twice (Summer Games 1972 and 1976) and achieved a world record over 10 m air rifle in Phoenix in 1970 with 387 rings.
