Gottfried Schenkel

Gottfried Schenkel (* in Heilbronn ; † 1493 in Heilbronn) was mayor of the imperial city of Heilbronn from 1471 to 1493 .

Gottfried was the son of Max Schenkel, who had a residence on Fleinerstrasse in Heilbronn. Max also owned a farm in Böckingen and was a feudal lord on an estate in Sontheim . Gottfried's father died in 1451.

Gottfried himself was mayor and mayor and married into the Heilbronn family of dogs. The dogs were the donors of the sacrament house in the Church of St. Kilian in Heilbronn .

The arms of the thighs represent a head of a goat. Two elephant tusks are used to decorate the crest. The Heilbronn family of the thighs is later also represented in Gmünd .
