Gottfried Schultz (medical doctor)

Gottfried Schultz (also Gottfried Schulz , born April 20, 1643 in Breslau ; † May 4, 1698 ibid) was a German medic and doctor in Breslau.

Life

Gottfried Schultz studied philosophy, mathematics a. Medicine with Johann Theodor Schenck and Erhard Weigel at the University of Jena . After a trip to Italy with stays in Nuremberg and Augsburg, he received his doctorate in Venice in 1671. He then worked as a doctor in Breslau.

In July 1676 Gottfried Schulz was registered under matriculation no. 63 with the academic surname Aegineta I. accepted as a member of the Academia Naturae Curiosorum , today's German Academy of Natural Scientists Leopoldina .
