Gottfried Stumpf

Gottfried Stumpf (born January 3, 1884 in Bütthard , † July 31, 1962 ) was a German judge .

Life

He was the son of a district magistrate and university professor. He passed the 1st state legal examination in 1906 with the grade “passed” and the 2nd in 1909 with the grade “II”. In 1910 he was admitted to the bar at the Bamberg Regional Court . During the First World War he was captain of the reserve. In November he was deleted to become a district judge at the Munich District Court. April 1921 was prosecutor at the district court Munich II. In 1929 he was appointed district court advisor and district judge at the district court Munich I and the district court Munich. December 1929 he was only at the district court. On the New Year of 1933 he was promoted to senior public prosecutor in Memmingen. In March 1935 he moved back to the bench as a higher regional judge in Munich. In March 1937 he was appointed to the Reich Court. In June 1945 he went on leave to Bavaria and thus escaped being arrested by the NKVD . He later wrote several form books.
