Gottfried von Porhoët

Gottfried von Porhoët (also Gottfried la Zouche ; French Geoffroy de Porhoët , * 1082; † 1141) was Vice-Count of Porhoët and a member of the (later so-called) House of Rohan .

He was the son of Eudon I, Vice Count of Porhoët and Rennes , and his wife Constance of Brittany. When his father died in 1119, he inherited him as Vice Count of Porhoët.

He married Hawise , the daughter of Duke Alain IV of Brittany . With her he had at least three sons:

  • Josselin († 1142), Vice Count of Porhoët
  • Eudon II († 1170), Count of Porhoët, Duke of Brittany
  • Alan de la Zouche († 1190), founder of the English family line La Zouche
