Gotthard Schöpf

Gotthard Schöpf (born October 14, 1984 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian athlete . His specialty are the 400 meter hurdles .

Life

At the beginning of his career, he still contested the sprint, hurdles and long jump disciplines. His most successful year so far was 2001. This year Schöpf took part in the 110 meter hurdles at the youth world championships in Debrecen , Hungary . He is in 13th place. The 2001 European Youth Olympic Days in Murcia (ESP), the unofficial European Youth Championships, were also on the program. Here he could win the bronze medal. In 2003 he was able to reach the finals at the Junior European Championships in Tampere (Finland) with the Austrian 4 x 100 meter relay . (ÖjR: 4 × 100 m: 40.70 s)

Schöpf has fought for 15 Austrian championship titles in the last six years, in all classes (youth - general class).
