The Gottlob Rommel Construction is a national construction company headquartered in Stuttgart .

history

The company was founded in 1901 by Gottlob Rommel sen. founded. In 1933 he handed the company over to his son Gottlob Rommel junior. and Wilhelm Keller. From here on, the construction company called itself Rommel & Keller - a company for civil engineering .

In 1956, Rommel and Keller separated and the business was continued under the name of Bauunternehmung Gottlob Rommel . Eberhard Rommel joined in 1972 and headed the company from 1977 after the death of Gottlob Rommel jun.

Since 1976 operating drum already turnkey construction as general contractor , but only in 1985 the drum-SF-Bau GmbH & Co. KG was founded. In 1990 the production program was expanded to include civil engineering projects, sewage treatment plants, overflow basins and water tanks. In the same year, a conversion and renovation department and a concrete and masonry repair department were set up.

In 1992 the company had its first building project in turnkey commercial buildings, followed in 1993 by entering into turnkey renovation of old buildings as a general contractor. In 1994 the company began to set up a branch in Dresden.

In 2000, the Esslingen company Gerhard Rybinski Bau-Unternehmerung GmbH & Co. KG was taken over. In 2001 the Dresden branch, founded in 1994, was transferred to the Rommel Dresden GmbH & Co.KG Bauunternehmung .
