The Gould Glacier is a 20 km long glacier on the Foyn coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows west of the Aagaard Glacier in a south-easterly direction to Mill Inlet .
According to an initial survey by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS), the ice flow, together with what was then known as the West Gould Glacier, should form a transverse depression through Grahamland. Further investigations in 1957 showed, however, that there is no topographical connection between the two glaciers . The Gould Glacier is named after the British polar historian and cartographer Rupert Gould (1890–1948); the West Gould Glacier, on the other hand, is now known as the Erskine Glacier .
