Goulven Madec

Goulven Madec AA (born October 31, 1930 in the Finistère department , † April 20, 2008 ) was a French Roman Catholic theologian.

Life

He was a doctor of classical antiquity (Sorbonne), a graduate of theology ( Angelicum ) and a doctor of philosophy (Institut Catholique de Paris, where he was professor) and specialized in the study of late antiquity and, above all, the life and work of Augustine von Hippo , but also by Ambrosius of Milan and Johannes Scottus Eriugena . Goulven Madec was also Director of Research at CNRS .
