Amur Governorate

The government Amur ( Russian Амурская губерния ) of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (RSFSR) of the Soviet Union existed from 1922 to 1926.

The capital was Blagoveshchensk . It was formed from the territory of the former Amur Oblast when the Far Eastern Republic fell apart on November 8, 1922 . The Amur Governorate was dissolved on January 4, 1926. The area was added to the newly formed Far Eastern Krai .
